The Shop located in Victor, Idaho has been a longtime dream of Fielding's. The building started out as an over-built guest house for visiting family and friends. Realizing the building's full potential it was time to make our dream come to life.
Fielding got his start at an early age any building his first wooden boat. He discovered this early love for woodworking and building functional pieces that create enjoyment for others time and time again. Fielding attended St. Lawrence University where he studied economics. Quickly learning that sitting at a desk day in and day out was not fulfilling his greater goal of using his hands again. Moving to Jackson Hole for the iconic "just for one winter season" quickly turned into 10 where he and his wife have made their home in Victor, Idaho. His love of the mountains, snowboarding, and 80's BMW's all have contributed to where he is today.
Kim is the Knifeman's wife. She holds many titles to the business including but not limited to; leather crafter, handle buffer, online manager, social media coordinator and customer service. Kim and Fielding's passions have always aligned since the early days of college. With lots of hard work and dedication they built a life together in the Tetons full of love, laughter, gardens, skiing, and dogs.
